“Our Life His Mission” contains the following sections:

Our Life : In 'Our Life' we will post what we do, or what our agenda is, to accomplish the humane mission of Swami Vivekananda. This will give us insight of the great work being done in small forms for His work.

His Mission : In this section, we shall publish mostly the flakes Swami Vivekananda's prodigious life and His teachings. With this, we shall also post the life and teachings of Thakur Sri Ramakrishna, Sri Sri Maa Sarada Devi and other disciples of Thakur, Maa, Swamiji that will help us to understand our goal in life.

We Speak : In this section, we shall keep posting our day-to-day individual writings, poems etc. Also we shall post blogs, and our views here.

Your Voice : While maintaining this blog and posting on it, we always believe that you have the same credibility to contribute for the task Swami Vivekananda has left for us. We, therefore, request you to write on Swami Vivekananda and His message, or anything else that can bring out a positive feeling, and send the article to ourlifehismission@gmail.com. Your article will be published post review and you will be sent an e-mail post publication. Kindly include the following detail while sending an article:
E-mail Subject: Your Voice
Your Name, place and occupation.
A name of the subject.
You can also give us feedback for improvement of the blog on the same e-mail ID.

Photo Gallery : This section will contain the photos of Thakur-Maa-Swamiji and their disciples. Also, we shall include the photos, if available, of the work we do to fulfill Swamiji's mission.

About Us

"Team "Our Life, His Mission" is consisted of us, a few young, vibrant, energetic youths, each filled with the stamina and vigor of Swami Vivekananda, the epoch making youth icon. But the origin of this group is quite interesting. Most of us did not know each other as a friend, and guess who was the mediator of our connection? No, no friends, no guru, no teacher. It was a social networking site that many parents are angry on- yes, there you go- Facebook!!!! Yes, that's true, most of us met each other through Facebook and we have become a family now, the obvious backbone being the one and only Swami Vivekananda. To explain a little more, when we found each other on FB, we found that we all try to follow His ideals, rather, we all love Him, though we do not belong to the same part of the country. But this love was enough to change the flicker to a huge fire, and the result is here- "Our Life, His Mission", a page dedicated to the improvement of Human Soul. The intention being spreading Swami Vivekananda's universal message of Humanity beyond all caste, creed and dogmas, we all are connected to each other round the clock, besides our day to day activities. Because we belong to you, we know that there are many others like us who love Swami Vivekananda and want to spread His ideal to make a distinction free world.

We take immense pleasure for the fact that we are starting the journey of this blog on a very remarkable day- 12th January, 2013, 150th Birth Anniversary of Swami Vivekananda. We strongly hope that people who read it will get strength and energy to inspire others to dedicate towards the noble work for humanity.
